Foundation Industry sectors are facing challenges in engendering greater sustainability to meet UK Government Net-Zero targets. However, without significant investment to transform the workplace and embed equality, diversity and inclusion, the industries risk missing out on vital skills needed to secure the future of the Foundation Industries. 

Transforming Foundation Industries Network+ has teamed up with Inclusioneering to deliver this workshop exploring equality, diversity and inclusion in the Foundation Industries. Our speakers will establish what EDI means for the sectors and showcase individual and industry perspectives and success stories to encourage an industry-wide discussion about greater diversity and inclusion. There will be further opportunities to interact with our speakers with the potential to ask questions throughout via the ‘chat’ function and also in Q + A/panel discussion sessions.

Speakers are TBA, with the anticipated agenda areas:

• Surveying the EDI landscape of the Foundation Industries – Including an introduction from TFI Network+ and Keynote speakers
• Showcasing EDI success stories from the industries as well as practical advice and opportunity for questions
• Building commitment to EDI action – an opportunity for attendees to share experiences, advice and best practices to define areas for collaboration across industry and EDI next steps for their organisations
