Achieving 100% recycling rate for the aluminium beverage can in Europe

24 March 2021

Driven by the transformational changes required by the European Green Deal, the European Commission’s new EU Circular Economy Action Plan has identified the packaging sector as a key value chain. The aluminium beverage can has a crucial role to play in a more resource-efficient circular Europe: it is lightweight, durable and endlessly recyclable.

European Aluminium and Metal Packaging Europe have teamed up to define the future role of the aluminium beverage can within the European circular economy and are pleased to present their new ambitious Roadmap for achieving a 100% can recycling target by 2030.

Moderated by Rick Thompson and featuring high-level policy and industry speakers, this interactive webinar will launch the Roadmap and will provide an opportunity to discuss the way forward for achieving a 100% real recycling rate for aluminium beverage cans.

Audience members will have the opportunity to put their questions to the speakers during the Q&A session. Register now to make sure you don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to contribute to the future circular economy!
