Designing lower carbon concrete structures

24 June 2021

Hosted by MPA The Concrete Centre

Register to attend.

This webinar will cover some of the ways that engineers can reduce the embodied carbon in their concrete structures, both from the specification of the concrete and from leaner, more efficient design.

We will look at the use of secondary cementitious materials, admixtures to reduce the water/cement ratio, specifying 56 day strengths to take advantage of lower carbon concretes and reducing the amount of concrete and other materials by efficient design.

Part of the Sustainability Series 2021.
