Game Changers LIVE – Low Carbon Concrete Edition

Low Carbon Concrete in partnership with Concrete Futures is the next in the series of Game Changers LIVE. The Concrete Centre is pleased to support this event as headline partner.

This Game Changers LIVE online event will feature the keynote address that will explore how carbon can be saved carbon now by using low carbon concretes and designing low carbon concrete structures. 

There will be presentations from Innovation Partners MPA Cement, Cemex, Hanson and Tarmac that will show the low carbon concretes that are available now and the innovations that form part of the industry roadmap to decarbonise cement and concrete. There will also be Innovation Talks to share the lessons learnt by Network Rail and HS2 in their use of low carbon concretes. 

The 2.5 hour event chaired by Claire Ackerman, Director, The Concrete Centre, brings together the industry’s game changing brands showcasing their innovations within the Innovation Talks, a keynote address led by experts in the specification and structural design of concrete, as well as networking and 1-2-1 meeting opportunities. 

The keynote address from The Concrete Centre will:

• present an overview of approaches for achieving low carbon buildings using concrete; industry decarbonisation initiatives; innovative concretes 
• present opportunities to save carbon now using low carbon concretes 
• present design options for saving concrete through lean design
